RPA – Proof of Concept
RPA technology can perform repetitive stuff more quickly, accurately, and tirelessly. Therefore, it allows humans to do other tasks requiring emotional intelligence, reasoning, judgment, and interaction with the customer. RPA robots are capable of mimicking many–if not all–human user actions. They log into applications, move files and folders, copy and paste data, fill in forms, extract structured and semi-structured data from documents, scrape browsers, and more. These RPA bots can handle complete transactions.
A proof of concept is a demonstration, the purpose of which is to verify that certain concepts or theories have the potential for real-world application. Infobiz provides the best RPA solution with a well-planned Proof of Concept. The POC will help you understand the features of the RPA product. Infobiz optimizes RPA in such a way that it fits your company’s needs so that there is maximum Return on Investment. A Live Demonstration will be presented as per the requirement of your company.
BOT 1 Retalix- Download Retalix reports to a shared folder:
The BOT can get reports from Retalix using Citrix Gateway and post to Netsuite using Connector.
Reports can be saved to Azure blob also share network.
Exceptions can be handled by the BOT.
Let’s have a look at how these BOTs work.
This video shows how BOTS perform end to end Retalix transactions.
1. As a first step, RPA bots will download daily sales reports from Retalix, a point of sale system.
2. The downloaded sales report will be converted to excel format and then transformed as per business rules.
3. Sales data will be saved in the shared folder. BOT 2 will create the journal entry (Data Transformation).
4. BOT 3 will post the journal entry to NetSuite using NetSuite web services.
5. BOT 3 C will upload the journal file to Azure blob.
BOT 3b- CSV import to NetSuite:
UiPath Studio is advanced automation software that gives everyone, from business users to advanced RPA developers, the right automation canvas to build great software robots—and organizations the right governance tools to manage them all. With this intuitive digital canvas, you can design automation workflows with prebuilt activities that you simply drag and drop. Once complete, your workflow is executed by your UiPath Robots. Here is an example of a Single Journal Entry, which has a .csv file extension.
The BOT logs into NetSuite. Then, it scans and uploads the CSV file. A CSV is a comma-separated values file, which allows data to be saved in a tabular format. After mapping, import starts. The CSV file has been updated to NetSuite.
Azure Blob BOT RPA:
Azure Blob storage is a feature of Microsoft Azure. UiPath has announced an RPA automated deployment solution on Microsoft Azure, significantly speeding RPA. Azure Blob storage is a service for storing large amounts of unstructured object data, such as text or binary data, on Microsoft’s data storage platform. Blob stands for Binary Large Object, which includes objects such as images and multimedia files. These are known as unstructured data because they don’t follow any particular data model. You can use Blob storage to expose data publicly to the world or to store application data privately.
In this demonstration, we will update files from a local folder to Azure Blob. Using the UiPath, the BOT can update the file very quickly. Lastly, you can see that the file is already updated in the Microsoft Azure- Merlin journal.
